The Coca-Cola Company Risk Claims Consultant in Atlanta, Georgia

The Risk Claims Consultant is an integral part of the Risk Management Claims Team participating in management and resolution of claims for all lines of coverage in The Coca-Cola Company's insurance program including Property, Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Financial Products (P&C, EPL, D&O etc.) They work closely with the broader Risk Management, Treasury and Finance teams who manage the Company's insurance, claims and risk financing programs from end to end. They participate in insurance procurement, claims & litigation management, data management, data analysis, reporting, and risk retention. They work closely with our bottling and vendor partners, Legal and outside defense counsel.

Position Details:

Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual

Individual contributor role - no direct reports

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

What You'll Do for Us:

  • Manage claims

  • Ensure proper reporting of claims to third party administrators (TPA) and carriers.

  • Handle tender notices and letters from customers, insurance companies, TPA's, bottling partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage our RMIS databases

  • Ensure accuracy of data

  • Input data

  • Create, analyze and disseminate reports

  • Coordinate training

  • Provide Litigation Coordination & Assistance

  • Handle legal notices

  • Work with internal Legal and outside counsel, local/global operations and bottling partners to assist counsel to respond to lawsuits and discovery

  • Prepare State/Federal Required Filings and Posting notices

  • Coordinate Claim Reviews and Audits

  • Manage vendor payments

Complexities include:

  • Operate within a multi-functional team focusing on insurance procurement, claims management, litigation management, data management and governance

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external system partners and vendors.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

Qualification & Requirements :

  • Casualty & Property Insurance claims experience preferred

  • TPA, carrier and other RIMS/data systems knowledge helpful

  • 1-3 years' experience working with insurance claims preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration or related field
