The Coca-Cola Company Sr. Space Strategy Mgr. - Small Store in Atlanta, Georgia

A s a Category Consultant you’ll s erve as a primary s trategic a dvisor to deliver best in class insights to drive customer growth by leveraging customer, syndicated and shopper card data, as well as other industry sources. You’ll be able to a ctively influence customer and system decision making with fact-based and category-centric thought leadership. The successful candidate will have a passion for analyzing and developing relationships t o build strategies and tactics designed for future category growth.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Focus on retailer category development while also partnering closely with sales to support development of sales strategy to increase sales in the marketplace.

  • Provide leadership & continued stewardship for retailer’s beverage categories.

  • Identify and articulate opportunities as part of the annual customer category situation assessment process, including recommending space opportunities and risks for the beverage category.

  • Be the industry, channel & category subject matter expert to facilitate retailers’ choice to select Coca-Cola products as their key strategic partner .

  • Collaborate with Sales, Shopper Insights, Space Strategy, Channel Strategy and Development, and Decision Support to deliver work focused becoming our customers most valued supplier.

  • Establishes and manages marketing budgets and ensure appropriate funding across the marketing mix elements of the brand portfolio and implement programs to drive productivity.

  • Secures correct and timely implementation of the portfolio approach, brand plans and programs in collaboration with other key functions.

  • Leads and influences teams to execute the Operating U nit plan at scale whilst also supporting with any locally led activity or amplification.

  • Develops a comprehensible “digital selling through customer” approach ensuring to build strategic partnership, marketing & selling value propositions.

  • Effectively collaborates globally in order to create synergies, implement and share best practices .

  • Analyzes and understands market trends and social forces, especially related to health and wellness, and how to bring more goodness from nature.

  • Develops end-to-end solutions with a deep understanding of each step of the value chain

  • Manages process and timings to make sure products will be launched according to the planned timing .

    Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field .

  • 5+ years in consumer goods brand management roles or retail customer experience.

  • Experience in developing actionable results from category, space management and shopper insights.

  • Ability to demonstrate advanced analytical capability with customer level data .

  • Strong working knowledge of syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen).

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Proven oral and written communication, storytelling , and influencing skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and assignments.

  • Ability to link category leadership strategies to customer strategies.

  • Experience in strategic planning and portfolio management .
