The Coca-Cola Company Commercial Finance Analyst in Bogota, Colombia

The Commercial Finance Analyst, will be responsible for taking tough business challenges and inventing new ways to solve them. Supports the Business Unit Commercial Finance Senior Manager, the Colombian and Caribbean Region Managers by providing Financial Support and by developing Ad Hoc financial analysis to assist in the decision-making process.

Here’s some of the things you’ll be doing:

Analyze and forecast financial data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions; interprets financial information on costs, prices and revenues; makes recommendations to senior management; conducts complex financial analysis projects; prepares forecasts and analyzes the company's position. Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards; knowledge base acquired from several years of experience in particular area; works independently; may coach other professionals.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership for the Latin Center Business Unit (BU) which consists of Colombia, Ecuador, Central America and Caribbean countries.

  • Provide financial leadership/analysis and align with the bottler partner to ensure a fair distribution of the system profit.

  • Develop channel profit models (Modern Trade – Off & On) to identify opportunities and give internal stakeholders recommendations.

  • Elaborate diverse financial analysis required to support the Region Finance Managers and the decision making.

  • Provide financial leadership for Marketing and Operations projects, ensuring the value creation for the system and company.

  • Support the System Economics process with financial analysis and insights to ensure the consistency and reliability of the information.

  • Assist BU Finance Managers with System and / Bottler P&L Analysis.

  • Ensure compliance of internal controls and business policies.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration, Economy, Accounting or Industrial Engineering.

  • Master within Finance preferred.

Related Work Experience:

  • Minimum 4 year of hands-on experience in Finance.

  • Proven track record at managing multiple projects in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Excel and Microsoft Services
