The Coca-Cola Company Senior Customer Marketing Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

The Senior Manager, Customer Marketing role will lead Customer Marketing annual planning, retailer media strategy and investment, brand and innovation planning and franchise system alignment on omnichannel marketing plans for Kroger, the 2nd largest customer in North America across the Coca-Cola Portfolio.

This role is responsible for:

  • Leading the shopper-connected commerce strategy by translating brand briefs and Customer Joint Business Plan objectives into strategic omnichannel program planning which meets retail sales growth goals/objectives without compromising OI growth

  • Leveraging holistic consumer-first connected consumer journey plans across relevant owned, earned, shared and paid connections points to develop Kroger exclusive media plans that deliver coherence and consistency for maximum business results among Kroger Shoppers

  • Leveraging current shopping trends, capabilities and patterns to identify new go-to-market media and communication opportunities

  • Demonstrating investment strategy acumen, utilization of post program analysis with an obsession for capturing key learnings and a bias for action

  • Stewarding internal cross-channel relationships, learning/opportunities and operating routines – internal best practices to advance Customer Marketing Capabilities across KO system

Related work experience:

Minimum required:

  • 5 or more years in customer marketing, media or brand marketing

  • Strong understanding in the field of digital marketing including (digital program development, mobile, direct response, seo/sem, location-based services, programmatic and social)

  • Analytical Mindset – leverages data to analyze performance and gleans insights from the data to develop and optimize marketing plans and effectively spend in the places that drive kpis.

  • Media planning and negotiation experience

  • Curiosity and willingness to lead change where required.

  • Effective communicator – able to leverage verbal and visual communication to drive action.

Incremental Experience Preferred:

  • 7 or more years in customer marketing, media or brand marketing, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry

  • Retail Media Network media planning and negotiation experience

  • General Manager mindset and business acumen

  • P&L Management
