The Coca-Cola Company CL-CPS Transportation & Logistics Analyst/Coordinator in San Bernardo - Santiago de Chile, Chile

Position Overview:

Responsible for managing the inbound and outbound transportation and foreign trade of the plant; Spend analysis, freight cost optimization, RFQ preparation and data collection, transit time analysis and freight modal definition. Solve critical transport problems, identifying alternatives to avoid impacts on the supply.

It works in compliance with global standards and local regulations, with Traffic Coordinators and Internal Processes to ensure that the operation moves in line with the defined strategies and standards.

Lead the implementation of new Transportation and Logistics tools, digitize and optimize current processes.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Door to Door management - Weekly plan, continous monitoring on the execution of the inbound and outbound activities to ensure on time delivery thru management of the relationship with service providers. (carriers, freight forwarder, broker, local 3PL companies).

  • Management routines: attend to local and global management routines to ensure alignment and compliance to requirements and opportunities.

  • Spend management - weekly critical analysis of the spend management to identify cost reduction opportunities.

  • Contour- TMS implementation for the plant. Training for end users and monitoring routines.

  • Metrics Reporting - Weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs reporting, monitoring and analysis. Targets definition, process improvement defining clear action plans to reach targets.

  • Local Service providers selection & hiring, aligned with Global T&L guidelines and strategy.

  • Performance - monthly meeting with plant service providers to review results – S&OP meetings with strategic logistics partners.

  • Global and local RFQ process: provide input and analyze data for the different lanes and strategies for each RFQ. Ensure accuracy and alignment with the global guidelines defined for the process.

  • Review and monitor the different foreign trade regulations that apply to the transportation process to ensure compliance and identify risks.

  • On spot quotations approval for lanes not included in BID. Cost analysis to define the best option.

  • Claim process: generate F4 notifications to carriers when applicable. Follow up on action plans and credit notes.

  • Freight Costs and impot duties calculation as critical input for PPV and MCR process.

Education Requirements:

University / Bachelor´s Degree: Supply Chain / Logistics, Economic, Engineering or similar.

Required Certifications:

  • Knowledge of Office package, user level.

  • OE tools knowledge: OSE, T-cards, TIP following, standardized processes, PDCA methodology.

  • SAP knowledge.

  • English advanced level.

Related Work Experience:

More than 2 years’ experience in Logistics and Transportation.
