The Coca-Cola Company Senior Manager, Social Strategy & Influencer Management in Shanghai, China

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for driving the development and execution of social transformation strategy in GCM, majorly focus on consolidated social platform strategies to fulfill brand respective social JTBD (salience building, culture and trend setting, IMX amplification, community building, etc). This role needs to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Categories, IMX E2E, IMX Media, IMX StudioX and other internal or external social media teams, KOL/KOC MCNs to ensure cohesive and impactful social engagements that resonate with consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the overarching social strategy(including influencer marketing strategy) aligned with broader brand objectives and marketing strategies. Lead global social transformation deployment (including influencer marketing transformation) with GCM business and social context.

  • Lead GCM influencer marketing framework and tools/process development surrounding KOC/KOL selection, empowering, evaluation and learning gathering.

  • Work closely with various teams to develop strategies for amplifying crafted experience and content through paid and owned social media, maximizing reach and impact, and craft contingency plans and risk-mitigation strategies to safeguard the brand's social presence.

  • Develop a framework for strategic experimentation on emerging platforms, to test engagement strategies and audience response while minimizing risks. Drive innovation and analyze early results to gauge the platform's effectiveness and refine strategies based on performance data.

  • Explore the integration of latest advancements in social technology that can enhance community engagement and Chatbots, personalization and AI, content creation, data-driven insights and measurement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-12 years proven experience as a Social Strategy or Influencer management lead or similar leadership role.

  • Deeply understand social platform key attributes with evolutionary perspective, established and emerging social tools to tailor experience and content for different social JTBD, optimizing to maximize engagement and resonance across various platforms.

  • Substantial expertise on KOL/KOC management across selection, content optimization and performance evaluation.

  • Deeply understand the preferences, behaviors, and needs of target consumers, and translate these insights into experience and content strategies that foster meaningful two-way conversations.

  • Passion for consumer-centered digital communication and a desire to advocate for the best consumer experience.

  • Deep understanding of various social and emerging platforms, their capabilities, and best practices. Have grit to deal with ambiguity and lead social transformation from 0 to 1.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, coordinate dependencies and manage risks in complex environments.

  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for storytelling and brand building. Strategic thinking with the ability to align social and emerging platform efforts with broader business objectives.
