The Coca-Cola Company Director, Product Lead, Data & Analytics - Japan & Korea in Tokyo, Japan

This role is part of our Global Data & Advanced Analytics organization which is responsible for building cloud-based analytics products. You'll work with stakeholders to understand business strategy and define business architecture, inclusive of artifacts such as capability maps, value streams and roadmaps. What You'll Do for Us

We are looking for an experienced individual, with deep knowledge in data modeling and data engineering using Azure Data stack and Spark.

  • Product leadership

  • Build the data foundation to support decision making of enterprise and functional teams such as database, KPI dashboards.

  • Identify opportunities for new types of analysis with deep business acumen, translate those into data analysis products and design operation flow.

  • Lead the adoption of ML/AI and emerging technologies that drive further insight values and maintain and update those systems to reflect market and business changes.

  • Monitor adoption and satisfaction of end users, using feedback to enhance the best products, sunset the underutilized and create new offerings to meet emerging needs.

  • Draw the long-term plan of data analysis products to evolve enterprise capabilities.

  • Adapt global data analysis products for use in the Japan and South Korea operating unit and deploy them to deliver compelling end user experiences that drive business growth.

  • Stakeholder management

  • Lead stakeholder engagement with the key functional senior leaders within Japan and South Korea operating unit and Coca-Cola system network demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs.

  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams in other regions across the globe to lead projects successfully.

  • Role model the behaviors of an enterprise leader - working across markets, functions and teams, ensuring clear accountabilities for all and optimizing value creation for the total company.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years+ experience in the data analysis heavy environment such as data analysis, strategy consulting, finance, or associated field.

  • Proven examples of using data to influence decision making.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI and proficiency in SQL, Python.

  • Experience of building ML/AI systems and managing Azure cloud platform are a strong plus.

  • Expertise of BI tools such as Power BI is preferred.

  • Aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations.

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English.
